【新生福利】在Linux,Mac和Windows里绑定学校邮箱

1. For Linux users

2. For Macs

此时你应该已经能够登录，但还没有结束！如果不进行之后的设置，你在学校里登录过一次，邮件地址就会被刷新位内部地址，导致不能使用。

You should be able to login by now. However, this is NOT the end!

进入设置，取消 Automatically detect and maintain account settings 这个选项

Go to preferences, unselect 'Automatically detect and maintain account settings'.

3.For Windows (以Windows10为例)

Step1

搜索并打开Mail应用

Search and Run “Mail” App

Step2

如果是第一次使用，点击“添加账户”

If this is the first time you use the app, just click “Add Account”

如果已经绑定了其他的账户，点击左下角的小齿轮，右边弹出的菜单点击“管理账户”，然后再点击“添加账户”

If you have already added other emails to that App, just click the “setting gear” at the left bottom of the window, then click “Manage account” in the menu popped up on the right, next click “Add account”

Step3

弹出的窗口选择“Exchange”，输入自己的邮箱地址xxx16@student.xjtlu.edu.cn，然后点击下一步

Select “Exchange” in the window popped up, then enter your email address xxx16@student.xjtlu.edu.cn and click “next”.

Step4

稍等片刻后提示输入密码，点击登陆

A moment later password enter required, enter the password and click “Login”

Step5

提示密码错误？没关系，一般来说并不是因为你的密码打错了，在“域”里填写xjtlu，然后再点击登陆

Password Incorrect? Don’t worry, it doesn’t mean that you have entered the wrong password, fill in “xjtlu” in domain then click Login

Step6

过一会后会弹出一个窗口“出现问题”，不用紧张，点击“高级”

A moment later “Problems encountered” will show, don’t be sad, just click “Advanced”

Step7

弹出的窗口将滚动条拉到最下面，服务器中填写mail.xjtlu.edu.cn，账户名称中按照自己的个人喜好填写即可，最后点击登陆，大功告成!

Then fill in “mail.xjtlu.edu.cn” in the serve blank and fill in the name according to your preferences, clicking Login at last. 

All settings have been completed. Enjoy!

Extra guidance

附加设置教程

在完成基本设置后，邮箱功能已经完全实现，同学们不用再登陆网页收发邮件，新邮件也会及时自动推送，再也不用担心错过重要信息啦！

不过有些小伙伴在使用了一段时间后发现为什么古老的邮件找不到了，推送也不及时了，接下来请看附加教程，使得app中的邮件始终完全同步

Here are several extra settings to keep the content in the app always synchronize with the mail sever

Extra Step1

点击左下角的齿轮，右边弹出的窗口点击你自己的邮箱

Click “Setting Gear” at the left bottom of the app, then click your personal mail in the menu on the right side

Extra Step2

弹出的窗口点击“更改邮箱同步设置”

Click “Change sync setting”

Extra Step3

分别将 “下载新内容” 与 “从以下位置下载电子邮件” 

两个下拉菜单的选项改为

“当项目到达时” 与 “任何时间”

最后点击完成

Change the setting in “Download new content” to “As items arrived”

Change the setting in “download email from” to “anytime”

Then click done
