JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer
          (C/C++ , Python)


JOB SUMMARY:
You will join Medtronic Technology Center as a senior software engineer. In this position, you will be involved in global projects and contribute to electrosurgical related software solutions, together with local and oversea colleagues. This position will directly report to product development tech lead.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the hardware and mechanical engineers to develop new medical devices with high quality.
  
• Deliver high quality code with unit testing.
  
• Responsible for design , implementation and documentation of the software.
  
• Implement the software tools to meet the requirements of manufacturing, servicing and internal testing from both internal and external customers.
  
• Understand the development process and other necessary SOPs, and apply them to daily work.
  

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science.
  
• Hands-on Experience working in software development on embedded medical devices with modern operating systems (e.g. RTOS, Linux, ucOS)
  
• Knowledge of basic communication encryption algorithm.
  
• Proficient in C/C++ programming, and python.
  
• Hands-on experience of software application module programming.
  
• Experience diagnosing and debugging complex, distributed system issues, and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve difficult problems.
  
• Experience with ARM processors Embedded systems.
  
• Experience with common white box testing. (e.g. Unit Test, static code analysis).
  
• Good English skill in writing and reading.
