PIC16C432 Device   The PIC16C432 is a high performance, small footprint PICmicro® microcontroller that features built-in LIN (Local Interconnect Network) transceiver capabilities. The LIN protocol is a low cost, short-distance, low speed network under a CAN platform. Designed as an innovative solution to conquer new connectivity frontiers, the PIC16C432 contains 2K words of OTP program memory, 128 bytes of data RAM and requires only 35 powerful single-cycle instructions, each 14 bits wide, with the exception of two-cycle program branches. Other on-chip peripheral features include an 8-bit real time clock/counter with 8-bit programmable prescaler, programmable on-chip voltage reference (VREF) module, programmable input multiplexing from device inputs and internal voltage reference, wake-up on bus activity, and single 40V I/O. Special MCU features include In-Circuit Serial Programming™ (ICSP™), power-on reset (POR), power-up timer (PWRT), oscillator start-up timer (OST), power saving SLEEP mode, selectable oscillator options and a watchdog timer (WDT) with its own on-chip RC oscillator for reliable operation.
